Todays game between the New Jeresy Devils and Buffalo Sabres was canceled due to a severe snowstorm in Buffalo.It is the first game to be canceled so far this year.The last time a game was postponed in Buffalo,1975 when the Islanders were in town.The game will be made up on Thursday. |

MARIO SET TO MAKE COMEBACK?
Mario Lemieux is shocking the hockey world.The Pittsburgh Penguins owner is rumored to be making a comeback.The official announcement is set to be made on Monday.TSN's Bob Mckenzie has reported that he thinks the earliest Mario will be in the Pens lineup is December 27 against the Leafs;on Hockey Night in Canada.If Lemieux does return it would be his second comeback.There are a few reasons why Lemieux would be doing this.1-he really wants to get back in the game and he feels that he is physically fit enough to do so.2-When Lemieux last retired he said that the game had to much hooking,slashing and holding.Now that the NHL has cracked down on those offenses he thinks the game is better.3-Simply,make Jagr happy.4-To boost ticket sales and increase fan interest. |
